:
The most important rule: NO PROFANITY!. Please remember that a broad base of fans will be reading your column. Your submission should obviously concern the Houston Astros in some way.
Do not hesitate to email us if you have have any problems submitting a column. We want to make this as easy and painless as possible while giving you maximum flexibility.
Headline - This is the headline, or title, for your column. It will show in the box on the front page and at the top of your column page. Try to keep it brief; maybe 5-6 words.
Summary - This is the text that will show up in the front page box for your column. Try not to make it more than 2-3 sentences, or we will have to shorten it. Try to make it descriptive of your subject, and it could even be part of your column's opening paragraph.
Column - This is the full text for your column. It should not include your title or your name; those will be added automatically. You can use HTML code if you like, but this is not a requirement. If you do, include only what is within the "BODY" tags. If you like, you can link to pictures on AstrosDaily.com or your website, create your own tables, and just generate all kinds of mayhem. If you are having trouble using HTML, my advice is to keep it simple!
Submit - This button saves your submission and sends you an email for confirmation. If you want to edit your column, you can ignore the confirmation email and re-submit your column. You will receive one email for each new submission; reply to the last one. Once you have confirmed your submission, we'll review your contribution. Thanks!
