After eight seasons in the Phillies organization as both a starter and a closer, Myers signed with the Astros in 2010 and regained the form that made him a first-round draft choice. The Florida native has already been signed to an extension through 2012 with an option for 2013 but struggled greatly during the 2011 campaign.
