Drafted in 2003, Anderson was a September call-up in 2007 who flashed onto the scene with speed and hustle. He was dealt by new general manager Ed Wade to Atlanta for pitcher Oscar Villarreal where he was used as a reserve outfielder. Since then, he has also seen action with Detroit and Kansas City.
