Feb 17 1964 - Colts trade outfielder Carl Warwick to St. Louis for outfielder Jim Beauchamp and pitcher Chuck Taylor. Beauchamp would hit .164 and .189 as an Houston reserve. The 21-year-old Taylor was sent back to St. Louis where he saw his first big league action in 1969 and became a quality reliever.

Dec 16 1969 - Pitcher Pat House is traded to Cincinnati for outfielder Jim Beauchamp. It is Beauchamp's second tour of duty with Houston. House earns a 2-1 record with one save in 24 games with the Astros. The lefthander never pitches in the majors after that deal.

Apr 15 1970 - John Mayberry slugs two home runs, drives in four and scores three times in a ten-inning, 7-6 victory over San Francisco . Jim Beauchamp singles Mayberry home with the winning run.
