John David "Stormy" Weathers was born in Tennessee and is still going strong after 19 big league seasons representing the Blue Jays, Marlins, Yankees, Indians, Reds, Brewers, Cubs, Mets and Astros before making return stops to Florida, Cincinnati and Milwaukee.

Combined, Weathers has a 73-88 record with a 4.25 ERA and 75 saves. During the 2004 season in Houston, he had a 1-4 record with a 4.78 ERA in 26 games. He had been acquired in June of that year for Richard Hidalgo and then was signed by the Marlins in September after the Astros had released him.
