Elliot Tyrone Waller was drafted by the Cardinals and came up with them in 1980. Dealt to the Cubs, he played two seasons there before he was dealt cross-town to the White Sox.

Waller signed with the Astros in 1983 but didn't return to the majors until 1987 when he played in 11 games and hit .167 with a double. Overall, he hit .236 with three homers and two steals in 63 games.
