The Indiana native came up with Oakland and pitched for Milwaukee before he came to Houston in 1998. Slusarski spent three seasons with the Astros, broken up with some time in Atlanta. As an Astro, he posted a 2-8 record with three saves and a 4.57 ERA. For his career, he compiled a 13-21 mark with a 5.18 ERA over seven seasons.
