A third-round pick of the Astros in 1988, Wisconsin-born Servais (pron: SUR-viss) came up with Houston in 1991 and played five seasons in Houston. He hit .222 with 21 homers . Servais was traded to the Cubs in 1995 and played four season with Chicago before moving on to the Giants and Rockies.

He retruned to Houston for his last big league stop in 2001 and hit .375 in 11 games. For his full Astros career, he hit .225. Over his full career, he hit .245 with 63 homers.
