6'-8" Robert Guy Scanlan Jr. came up with the Cubs in 1991 and, from there, spent time with the Brewers, Tigers, Royals, Astros and Expos. He was a somewhat effective swing pitcher, going from starting to the bullpen. As an Astro, he pitched 27 games in relief during the 1998 season, posting a 0-1 record with a 3.08 ERA. For his nine seasons, he compiled a 20-34 mark with a 4.63 ERA and 17 saves. |
