A hard-throwing reliever with a wildness problem, Miceli settled into a role as set-up reliever with ten different clubs. Miceli wore the uniforms of the Pirates, Tigers, Padres, Marlins, Rockies, Rangers, Indians, Yankees, Astros and Devil Rays. Astro fans likely remember him most for his struggles in the 2004 NLCS against the Cardinals (0-2, 27.00 ERA), but his numbers overall in Houston was 7-7, a 3.18 ERA and two saves. For his entire career, his record was 43-52 with a 4.48 ERA and 39 saves. |
