Michael Ray Meadows was a second-round pick of the Astros in 1982 and debuted with the Astros in 1986. He spent four seasons as a reserve outfielder, compiling a .186 average and five homers in 87 games. Released in June of 1990, he was signed by the Phillies and played in 15 more games.
