Older brother of 300-game winner Greg Maddux, Mike has made a name for himself as a pitching coach. Before that, he spent 15 years in the bigs, pitching for nine teams. Houston was his last stop in 2000 when he posted a 2-2 record with a 6.26 ERA.

He pitched for the Phillies, Dodgers, Padres, Mets, Pirates, Red Sox, Mariners, Expos, Dodgers and lastly with the Astros. For his career, he had a 39-37 record with 20 saves and a 4.05 ERA.
