Born: Jul 3, 1955
The product of a baseball family (son of Marty Keough and nephew of Joe Keough), Matt was a righthanded pitcher who spent nine seasons in the majors and part of his final one with the Astros in 1986.
During the 1986 pennant race, Keough appeared in ten games for Houston (five starts) and posted a 3-2 record with a 3.09 ERA. For his career, Keough had a 58-84 record with a 4.17 ERA.
Keough's name resurfaced during the latter half of the 2000s in some unflattering ways. First, he was part of a reality series called the "Real Housewives of Orange County" then he was involved in a drunk driving charge in 2007 and was arrested again in 2009 for violating the terms of his probation.
