Alfred Henry Jutze was considered a hot catching prospect when he was acquired from St. Louis after the 1972 season. He spent four years with the Astros but hit .210 with no homer as others took over the bulk of the catching duties.

He was dealt to the Mariners for 1977 and played his final year in the big leagues there. Over his career, he hit .215 with three homers.
