The California native started with the Angels and spent several years with the Giants before meandering to the Expos and Cubs. He was sold to the Astros before the 1971 season and played 79 games over two seasons as a backup for Johnny Edwards. Hiatt hit .266 with one homer during that time. Hiatt was sold to the back to the Angels in 1972 where his career ended. Over his nine big league seasons, he batted .251 with 22 homers. |
