After seven seasons with the Brewers, Mets and Giants, Henry came to Houston as a free agent before the 1998 season. He lasted most of three seasons and was a member of two division champions as an Astro, compiling an 11-8 record with five saves and a 3.88 ERA in 139 games.
He was dealt at the 2000 trade deadline to the Giants for pitcher Scott Linebrink. He spent one final season in Kansas City before his big league career ended. Over his entire 11 seasons, Henry posted a 34-42 record with 82 saves and a 4.19 ERA.
