Floyd Bluford Henry III was born in El Paso TX and was originally drafted by Cincinnati. The lefthander was sent to Houston in a trade for popular infielder Bill Doran. Henry came to the majors with the Astros in 1992 as a 23-year-old. He started 28 games and posted a 6-9 record with one shutout and a 4.02 ERA. Henry was taken by Colorado in the expansion draft that winter and continued his career with the Expos, Red Sox and Mariners. For his career, Henry had a 33-33 record with a 3.83 ERA and seven saves. |
