A second-round pick of the Astros in 1971, the lefthanded hitting outfielder had two short spans with the Astros, batting .167 in 79 games during the 1975 and 1977 seasons. He was purchased by the Giants after the 1977 campaign and appeared in seven more games before his big league career ended.
