Bryshear Bennett "Brock" Davis was signed off the UCLA campus by the Colt .45s in 1963 and was quickly promoted to the big leagues at the age of 19. Davis played for Houston in the "All-Rookie Game" that year. He played briefly for Houston in 1963, 1964 and 1966, batting .176 with one homer in 96 games.
He was claimed by the Cubs in the 1968 draft and hit .253 during the 1970 and 1971 seasons before a final season with Minnesota in 1972.
