The righthander pitched for the Indians, Reds and Cardinals before being dealt to the Astros in 1970 for Jim Beauchamp and Leon McFadden. He had a 14-13 mark with a 2.92 ERA during two seasons with Houston. He was purchased by the Dodgers just before the 1973 campaign and finished his career with the Phillies, earning a 48-49 record overall.
