A 5-8 outfielder, Cangelosi used his speed to compensate for his lack of power. He had played for the White Sox, Pirates, Rangers and Mets before coming to Houston in 1995 as a free agent. In two seasons for the Astros, he hit .287 with just three homers but with 38 steals. After that, he played for the Marlins and Rockies before closing a 13-year career with a .250 batting average. |
