Memorial services will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, Hankamer Chapel, for former Colt .45 and Astro Ron Davis, who died Saturday.

Davis, 50, played for the Colt .45s in their first season in 1962, then with the Astros from 1966-68. He also played for the Pirates and Cardinals and appeared in two games with St. Louis in the 1968 World Series.

Davis had lived in Houston for 30 years.
