Randy Wolf, the first winning pitcher in Minute Maid Park history, usually saves his best for the Astros and Saturday night was no exception. The lefty held Houston to two runs in 6-2/3rd innings as the Brewers topped the Astros, 5-2, for Houston's third straight loss.

Brett Myers was tagged for a leadoff homer by Rickie Weeks. Corey Hart blasted a double in the first and eventually scored for an early lead the Astros would not overcome. Hart had three hits and scored twice while George Kottaras drilled a conventional homer off Nelson Figueroa in the seventh for the game's final run.

Houston had several scoring chances but only crossed the plate in the seventh when Jason Bourgeois reached on a one-out single. Angel Sanchez, who had two singles off Wolf, almost had a third with a bunt in front of third but Wolf made an amazing, spinning throw to nip Sanchez at first.

Hunter Pence followed with a double that scored Bourgeois and Carlos Lee bounced a ground rule double to score Pence. But Jeff Keppinger popped up for the third out.

Trevor Hoffman picked up the save, his first since May 7th, the MLB-record 597th save of his career.

Houston swept Milwaukee at Minute Maid last weekend. The Brews may return the favor at Miller Park if they complete the sweep Sunday afternoon. Yovanni Gallardo (10-5) will try to do that in the 1:10 Central contest when he faces Wesley Wright (1-1), whose only win this season was last weekend against Milwaukee.
