Wandy: Just three hits.

The Astros' offense scraped together three runs in the seventh which was enough to trip Milwaukee, 3-1, snapping a four-game losing drought while ending the Brewers' eight-game winning streak.

Houston made outs on all three scoring plays as Mark Loretta and Kaz Matsui hit sacrifice flies off David Riske before Lance Berkman was thrown out at second trying to stretch an RBI single for the final out. All three runs were charged to starter Manny Parra who loaded the sacks before Riske entered in relief. Berkman, Carlos Lee and Hunter Pence had a pair of hits each for the Astros.

Wandy Rodriguez was dented for a run in the second on a double by Mike Cameron but held the Brew Crew to three hits over six innings and stayed around just long enough to get his sixth win of the year. Chris Sampson, Wesley Wright and Jose Valverde worked the last three frames.

On Saturday, Brandon Backe (6-10) toes the rubber against Dave Bush (5-8) in a 6:05 Central start.
