After a subpar outing from Wandy Rodriguez, Houston rallied from five runs back to tie the game at 6-6 and go to extra innings. In the 11th, ex-Astro Jeff Kent belted a Crawford Box shot off Wesley Wright to give the Dodgers a 7-6 decision, their first win over Houston in five tries.

The Astros lost a good chance to help themselves climb back into the division and wild card races. Ty Wigginton led the comeback with a three-run homer in the sixth and Carlos Lee added a two-run double in the seventh, part of a four-hit night that raised his batting average to .289.

Catcher Humberto Quintero was injured on a swing by Luis Mata in the second and had to be replaced by Brad Ausmus. Quintero was reported to have suffered a mild concussion and will be placed on the 15-day disabled list. J.R. Towles, who started the season in Houston, was recalled from Round Rock to take his place.

The series continues on Wednesday night at 7:05 Central. Hiroki Kuroda (3-6), fresh off the disabled list, is scheduled to start for the Dodgers if he's ready to go. Runelvys Hernandez (0-1) will make his second start for Houston.
